No mother likes to see their little baby suffering from a cold or flu and it is especially hard watching them struggle with a cold that they have no idea how to blow out ad because they do not have the slightest idea how to get rid of the cold, they have to allow the mucus in their nasal cavities to accumulate; thus making them suffer. Having a cold will block your child’s nasal passage making it hard for them to breathe. This cold will also run down their face and down their throats, which will leave a bad taste in their mouths.

When you realize that your child has a bad cold, you will need to use bulb syringe and these syringes are designed specially to clear your baby’s nose. You also have the option of using a battery powered nasal aspirator to clear the cold from your baby’s nose. When trying to clear up your child’s nose, you will need to have one of these bulb syringes on hand as well as a natural saline to loosen the mucus that has been thicken in the nasal passage. By loosening the mucus, this will be much easier to suction out.

When looking for a bulb aspirator, you need to know that there are several kinds out there for you to choose from.

The most popular kind of bulb syringe is the most traditional one that is made with a rubber ball on the tip. These syringes can be found in any pharmacy for as little as five dollars or less.

If you are into more modern things, then you will be happy to know that there are battery powered aspirators for infants and these syringes will create suction by using power. These syringes however, come a little more expensive and will range anywhere from $30-$80 per one. They are also built with disposable plastic tips for your convenience.

How do you use these bulb syringes to clean your baby’s nose?

First you will need to place the baby on your lap, with his head on your knees and the baby’s feet pointing to your stomach. While cradling their body between your thighs, tilt their head back a little but not too far back. Place about too drops of the saline solution into the baby’s nose and wait for about 20 seconds to use the syringe.

If you are using the bulb syringe, squeeze the bulb and gently put the tip into your baby’s nose, ensuring that you do not get it in too far. You should gently remove the bulb which will suck the mucus out.

Remove the bulb syringe from the baby’s nose and get rid of the mucus, repeat the steps if necessary before moving on to the other nostril an applying the same steps.

Using enema bulb syringe is a good way to rid yourself of many problems and it is also the ideal colon cleansing technique.

Enema bulb syringes are used to deal with small enemas that are used to fill the lowest parts of the colon. Enema bulb syringes come in various different sizes and is normally used by persons that need to use an enema to relieve their constipation.
People use enema bulb syringes for various different medical reasons and they have different enemas to choose from because each provide different benefits. However, when you are using an enema bulb syringe, the air will be squeezed from the bulb, while the tip of the syringe is placed in a container that has water or some other form of solution in it. The bulb syringe will then be released and it will fill with water. The enema will then be administered by you placing the bulb syringe inside the rectum and releasing the solution into the bowels to free it up.

There is always a rubber child bulb syringe in all hospital kits that most parents receive to help clear up their
and these syringes have proven to be entirely successful. However, to aid in your child’s breathing process, there are quite a few new products on the market that has also been proven to be quite efficient when cleaning child mucus.

However, how do you use a child bulb syringe to clean your baby’s nose?

The very first thing that you should do is to squeeze some saline in your baby’s nose to help moisten the mucus before trying to suck the child mucus out. If you are wondering, saline can be bought at any pharmacy or you can make it at home by dissolving ¼ teaspoon salt into 8 ounces of warm water. The saline should be made fresh each day and should be stored in a clean glass jar that should be kept covered.

You should then lay your child down between your legs with their chin tilted slightly upwards and you should place one or two drops of saline in each nostril using an eyedropper. After placing the saline in your baby’s nose, hold the baby’s head still for roughly ten seconds. You should also be sure that you wipe the dropper clean for further use.

While the saline may break the baby’s congestion however, if this does not happen, you will need to use the child bulb syringe to suck the child mucus out.

Before placing the child bulb syringe into the baby’s nose, you will need to squeeze the air out of the syringe, creating a vacuum and then you should insert the tip of the syringe into your baby’s nose. You should then slowly release the bulb to suction out the child mucus then remove the syringe and squeeze to dispel the mucus. Wipe the syringe clean and repeat the process for the other nostril.

If the congestion has not left your child after five to ten minutes, repeat the steps from applying the saline solution down to suctioning out the mucus. While your child’s congestion is very irritating and all you want to do is help, ensure that you do not suction the nose more than two or three times per day because doing it more will irritate the baby’s nasal lining and you should also ensure that you do not use the saline drops for more than four days in a row because we all know that salt has a tendency to dry out things and it will do the same for your child’s nostril.

When using the child bulb syringe to suction your baby’s nose, remember that this should be a gentle process and once you keep that in mind, your baby’s breathing will be better.
